Certifications for quality and environmental management
COG has once again been awarded certifications for quality management to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and environmental management to DIN EN ISO 14001:2015. COG also convincingly met the requirements for certification of its management system to DIN ISO 45001 : 2018 in respect of the development, manufacture and sale of seals made from elastomers and plastics.

Excellent climate protection with the PRIMAKLIMA seal
COG has been working climate-neutral since the beginning of 2020 and relies on the two instruments of minimization and compensation in the area of sustainability. The recognized PRIMAKLIMA seal documents the climate neutrality achieved in this way through the following points:
- Development of a catalog of measures for the consistent reduction of CO2 emissions in all areas (based on the so-called "carbon footprint").
- The remaining share of unavoidable emissions is offset according to the principle of global CO2 balance through the support of certified climate protection projects.
- From 2021, COG will be relying entirely on renewable energies to cover its electricity needs.
