Otto Gehrckens has put its new technology centre into operation, directly on the company’s site in Pinneberg, near Hamburg, therefore decisively expanding its manufacturing expertise in the truest sense of the word. Across an overall area of 2,000m2, this is where the specialists at COG are developing new materials to meet industry’s challenges of tomorrow. The extensive, modern equipment in the technology centre makes it possible to simulate all stages of production and at the same time to replicate the various production processes. This represents the analytical foundation for profound optimisation and new development of not only materials but also complete production processes. With the new technology centre, COG now has at its disposal greater means and capacity to advance the company’s broad portfolio in a focused manner and so that process reliability is guaranteed.
